K4 Packout Strap Set (Use Without A Lid)

Secure a skull and antlers when not using a K4 Lid.

The K4 Packout Strap Set was developed to secure and stabilize the head and antlers during a packout, when not using a K4 Lid. (See how the K4 Lid is normally used to secure antlers in this video.) These Packout Straps attach from the top of the frame to the top of the bag, securing the head and antlers at the top of the pack.

This accessory is perfect for users of the K4 2200 Daypack, since that pack system does not come with a lid by default. Since all of our packs can be used without a lid, these straps can be used with any of our pack systems.

After testing numerous G-Hooks that are commercially available and being disappointed by their performance, size, and weight, we designed a custom, low-profile steel G-Hook that provides ultimate security and strength at a minimal weight. These G-Hooks are produced and finished right here in Boise, Idaho, USA.
